Invitation to / Einladung zum: Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD] ### [EN, DE: siehe unten] Hello! We’re writing to you because you’ve already organized events related to Linux and FOSS. We wanted to ask if you’d like to participate in Linux Presentation Day [LPD]. (This email is a one-time message, so don’t forget to subscribe to the mailing list if you’d like to receive future updates.) The next date is October 17, 2026. Around this date, numerous events will once again take place worldwide. Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD] is a distributed series of events that takes place twice a year around a specific target date. The goal is to raise public awareness of topics such as: Linux, free software, a free society, regaining control over one’s own data, and reducing dependencies. The LPD-ORGA supports organizers by providing websites, information, media, resources, press relations, and more. \* [https://l-p-d.org/](https://l-p-d.org/) If you’re participating, please list your event on LEO well in advance(!) to ensure visibility. It’s easy: Register, confirm your email, and log in. Then you can manage any entries—you can list any events, as long as they’re related to Linux, FOSS, Spaces, Makers, etc. Click here to go to LEO; your entries will be automatically transferred to the l-p-d.org site after a short while: \* [Datenbank internationaler LINUX-Veranstaltungen / Database of international LINUX-Events, like Linux-Presentation-Day (LPD), Linux-Day and more. All under the motto: Together we are strong! 🙂 After all, joint public appearances and coordinated communication efforts are noticed more by the media than a small group doing “something.” That’s why we’re trying to connect everyone to raise public awareness. There are many building blocks for this: More about the LPD: \* [Fragen und Antworten (FAQ) [Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD]]](https://l-p-d.org/de/faq/start) You can find flyer packs and other resources at: \* [Ressourcen [Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD]]](https://l-p-d.org/de/resources) Fediverse (the free social media) and LUGs: See also: \* [FAQ: Fediverse - Fragen und Antworten (FAQ) [Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD]]](https://l-p-d.org/de/faq/faq_fediverse) Please link only to the main pages: \* [https://l-p-d.org](https://l-p-d.org) / Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD] \* [https://linux-events.org](https://linux-events.org) [LEO] \* see also: [Linux Presentation Day (LPD) [Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD]]](https://l-p-d.org/de/lpd#werbung_machen_fuer_den_l-p-d) \* Hashtags: #LinuxPresentationDay #LPD #weiterteilen #Boost #linux @public@hubzilla.l-p-d.org Feel free to send questions to our mailing list or to me. (see below9 ### [DE, EN: see above] Einladung zum Linux-Presentation-Day [LPD] Hallo! Zu LEO geht es hier, Eure Einträge werden nach einiger Zeit automatisch in die Site l-p-d.org übernommen: [Datenbank internationaler LINUX-Veranstaltungen / Database of international LINUX-Events, like Linux-Presentation-Day (LPD), Linux-Day and more. And with LUGsList. Find it, love it, spread it!](https://linux-events.org/SL_LUGs) [LEO] FAQ zu LEO: [FAQ: Zu Linux-Events.
